Over many years, AD Tipoplastika has had the role of a market leader in the production of flexible packages, on the former and current Yugoslav market. This role created an affinity for developing our relation towards the market itself, as well as for developing our internal structure, in accordance with the European and domestic standard JUS ISO 9000.
In 1993, the management of the company made a decision to introduce the quality assurance system in compliance with the JUS ISO 9001/96 standard. Following this decision, the Quality Assurance Board was formed and a consultant was chosen, with a mission to conduct the necessary activities in collaboration with the expert teams from the company, and with an aim to effect the implementation of the chosen standard. Between 1993 and 1997, this mission was accomplished and the Tipoplastika Quality Assurance System was introduced, to meet the standard JUS ISO 9001/96.
The certification body of the Federal Biro for Standardisation awarded the Certificate for Quality Assurance System that complied with the JUS ISO 9001 standard to Tipoplastika, in August 1997.
Parallelly with the re-organisation of the Quality Assurance System, preparations were going on for the accreditation of the laboratory, with an aim to obtain the accreditation for certain laboratory functions in compliance with the JUS ISO 17 025 standard.
At the same time, in order to satisfy the demands of our customers, our employees and our immediate and wider environment, as well as other parties and the relevant legislation in the area of environmental protection, we felt the need to start activities towards organising our environmental policies and practices in accordance with the European and Yugoslav standards JUS ISO 14000 .
Since a considerable level of organisation had already existed in the company prior to this period, as well as owing to the preparations that had been done within the ISO 9001 certification process, it took only about a year to complete the documentation needed for the organisation of the Environmental Protection system that satisfied the JUS ISO 14000 standard.
In August 2000, the certification body of the JUQS awarded the Certificate for Environmental Protection System that complied with the JUS ISO 14000 standard to Tipoplastika.
By using the tools for monitoring and improvement of the Quality Assurance System and the Environmental Protection System, through the annual re-certification of the systems, through internal controls, controls done by the management, analysis of the production and other performances, results are obtained that show both the necessity and the success of the implemented standards, of which Tipoplastika possesses certificates.
Respecting the fact that the development of a quality assurance system is a process without final solutions, a process that must be developed on continuous basis, Tipoplastika has made a decision to organise the Quality Assurance System and to maintain the work process according to the processing model and the requirements
imposed by the JUS ISO 9001/2001 standard. At the same time, following the modern tendencies of joining the Quality Assurance System and the Environmental Protection System, we are undergoing preparations for their integration in AD Tipoplastika.
Since we have had very good results with the JUS ISO 9001/2001 and JUS ISO 14000 standards in an adverse economic climate, we have every reason to believe that the advancements made by the integration will produce new satisfactory results.
In accordance with the existing expectations, general and specific measurable objectives have been set, and an action plan for the realisation of these has been
